We invite you to our NAIFC-sanctioned ice fishing tournament: seminars and instruction, Kids Camp, TV filming with the Ice Men, cash prizes for the tournament. And, while you are here, enjoy all the winter activities our area has to offer.

The West Yellowstone/Hebgen Lake Tournament, like all NAIFC qualifiers, is a three-day event - January 17-19, 2014. Two-thirds education and one-third competition with a maximum entry of 150 two-persons teams. The WY/Hebgen Lake Tournament will have an anticipated prize pool of at least $14,000.00 and could be as high as $21,000.00. Plus there are cash payouts from the Calcutta Saturday night.

For those three days, West Yellowstone becomes the center of Ice Fishing with tremendous Fishing Education opportunities on Friday & Saturday and World Class Competition on Sunday, January 19, 2014.

An official North American Ice Fishing Circuit event on Hebgen Lake at Kirkwood Resort & Marina, winter's equivalent of summer's big time bass and walleye tournaments, is filled with seminars, a kid's workshop and the fishing competition itself. A round of evening activities will add local flavor to this annual staging. Pack up the modern day version of woolies and join us in West Yellowstone. Add great snowmobiling, snowcoach tours, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing for an invigorating weekend in winter.
